enjoy every moment of your wedding KNOWING THAT EVERYTHING IS TAKEN CARE OF
Everything about Thomas and Ashley’s The Gallery-Houston wedding was perfect. These two (and all their wedding party) have such great taste. Ashley’s lacy strapless dress and Thomas’s burgundy bespoke suit were the perfect combination of classic and modern. The Gallery-Houston, with it’s classic architecture outside and modern fixtures inside was a perfect location for these two.
These stairs at The Gallery-Houston are the perfect place for a bride to enter. This is our favorite entrance shot of 2016.
Thomas forgot his vows. I don’t mean he had them memorized, but faltered. He left the notecard they were on in the room he got ready in. His best man did best man things and ran to get them in the middle of the ceremony (you can see the smooth handoff above).
Thomas and Ashley chose to incorporate the el lazo tradition of having a large rosary wrapped around them in the shape of an infinity to sign to symbolize God binding them together for the rest of their lives. This was a first for us, but was an incredibly moving tradition.
Thomas and Ashley’s entire ceremony was in Spanish. This was great for Paige, who is fluent in spanish. But Wil only knows a few words. He listened carefully for the word “beso” knowing that meant they were about to kiss. The Gallery-Houston has a great balcony that let us get a shot of the first kiss from the back and above. Of course, Wil stayed close by because he couldn’t follow along and didn’t know where we were until the end and didn’t want to be caught going up the steps while something important happened.
Our favorite thing about The Gallery-Houston is this beautiful golden hour light. It made family portraits a breeze.
