Camille’s Bridal Portraits at Rice University

April 10, 2017

Camille and Nathan married last weekend, so now we are excited to share her bridal portraits at Rice University. She found us after she saw Kaylee’s bridals taken at Rice. Camille loves Rice and wanted to incorporate the university, her alma mater, to mark this point in her life. She shared many great memories from early morning classes in the quad to her favorite professor and class.

It’s so easy to take great bridal portraits at Rice University. The entire campus has beautiful architecture and perfectly manicured lawns. At every turn there are statues, fountains, and canopies. Rice is also the home of James Turrell’s Twilight Epiphany Skyspace, a stunning modern pyramid, art form, and musical laboratory. The day of Camille’s session, we met at Sally Court in the main quad. We strolled along the tree tunnels, taking in the gorgeous light, and Camille gave us a rundown of the history and traditions of the university.

She wanted portraits that were happy, natural, effortless, classy, elegant, and joyful, with a mix of full body shots and closeups. During our session, we moved about quite a bit and played with the layers on her dress and tried different techniques to get a wide range of expression.

Camille is absolutely adorable and brings joy to everyone who crosses her path. Keep scrolling to see her adorable and joyful bridal portraits at Rice University.
